LAKE TAHOE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PROGRAM 2007-2008
Sixth Grade music for 2007-2008 school year:
program at the 6th grade level (for band instruments only - no beginning strings.)

Fourth and Fifth Grade music program for 2007-2008 school year:
5th graders. Also, any new 5th graders (i.e., any 4th graders who didn't participate or dropped out along the way) could
participate at this time. Session will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 – 3:00 pm, in the conference room.

Before Thanksgiving week, there will be a parents’ meeting regarding the instrumental portion of the music program which
would begin after Thanksgiving. In this way, more of our parents can get involved/informed as to what is going on. Such things
as renting instruments, practice records and general expectations could be explained. Any student interested in going on would
then be involved in the program much as it took place this past year, i.e., parent volunteers driving twice per week taking those
students who were interested in going on after they participated in general music.
