GRADE 8: HOMEROOM NEWS, LANGUAGE ARTS HOMEWORK, RELIGION HOMEWORK:

September 7th:

HOMEROOM NEWS: Please read all the information in the family envelope. I have enclosed a class schedule, teaching assignments and the form for the use of the novels. In addition, I have placed the registration forms for the DC trip. Please register as soon as you can. You do not need to send in any money for the students as almost all of them have money from previous fundraisers, Questions? Call me. If you are planning on going, you must register. The tour company has a payment schedule.

Summer reading is due by Friday. The work counts as a test grade.

Spelling test on Friday. The vocab books have not come in as yet. I will be giving the students a list of words that they will be tested on.

Religion: We will begin Family Life. Also anyone who wishes to be confirmed this year must register their child with the parish rel ed dept. The Confirmation class will be taught by me during our religion classes this year.

We need lots of volunteers this year due to the fundraising that is done for the DC trip. Please let me know if you can help.
